- Power system: Ford Transit T8 provides 2.3t diesel power with a maximum power of 174 horsepower and a maximum torque of 430 Nm. In terms of the transmission system, it is matched with an 8 AT gearbox. The 8 AT gearbox can automatically switch to the appropriate gear according to the vehicle speed and driving needs to achieve smooth power output and fuel economy. In economic mode, the cruising speed is basically below 1500 RMP. The vehicle shifts up actively and the throttle adjustment is relatively conservative. When accelerating, the vehicle body has a certain response time. In sport mode, the throttle adjustment and vehicle body response are more rapid and sensitive. The cruising speed is within 2000 rpm. There is no dragging feeling when releasing the accelerator.

 

- Driving mode: It has two driving modes, default economy and sport. In economic mode, the vehicle's throttle response is relatively mild and it shifts up actively, which helps save fuel. Sport mode provides a more rapid throttle response and sensitive vehicle body reaction to meet driving situations with higher power requirements.

- Braking system: The braking is sufficiently linear and the vehicle body response is also relatively sensitive, making it easy to grasp the following distance. This helps the driver control the vehicle's deceleration more precisely and improve driving safety.

- Steering system: The whole series is equipped with an electronically assisted steering wheel. There is no obvious diastema in the steering wheel, allowing the driver to better control driving direction of the vehicle.

- Suspension system: it adopts front MacPherson independent suspension and rear Hotchkiss suspension, which filters road bumps to a certain extent.

 

- Assisted driving system: Cruise control is standard. Adaptive cruise control can be optionally equipped. Some models also have L2.5-level ADAS driving assistance functions, including lane change assistance, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, intelligent evasion, active braking and other functions. It senses and collects surrounding environmental data information at any time through equipment such as sensors, radars and cameras.

- Electronic parking system: The Transit T8 chassis is the first in the industry to be equipped with a dual-motor EPB/Auto Hold (automatic parking), which can perform electronically controlled parking braking on a steep slope with a gradient of 30%.

- Dual generator system. The Transit T8 special chassis is specially equipped with an intelligent dual generator suitable for RVs. The second generator dedicated to the rear living area has two versions of 12 volts and 48 volts for selection. Second generator can improve the driving power generation efficiency of the lithium battery in the living area and ensure worry-free power consumption of living area. The maximum output power of the 12-volt motor is about 2 KW, and the output power of the 48-volt generator is about 4KW.

In terms of the RV body: The whole body has a cage-like structure. The frame is coated with cathodic electrophoresis for rust prevention. The one-piece body without splicing and polyurethane foam for thermal insulation. These are strictly standard technological processes of Qixing RV to ensure the safety and stability of the body.
