1. Adjustment of the rearview mirror

Self-propelled RVs are generally larger than ordinary family cars, so the adjustment of the rearview mirror is particularly important, basically, the rearview mirror of the self-propelled RV can be divided into several parts: side rearview mirror, lower rearview mirror, upper rearview mirror.

A. Side rearview mirror: can fully observe the overall vision of one side of the vehicle, taking into account the adjacent lane space, generally adjusted according to the principle of 20/80, that is, the body part accounts for 20%, and the road on the side of the vehicle accounts for 80%.

B. Rearview mirror: The adjustment of the rearview mirror is mainly for the invisible area under the side of the body, such as under the driver's door panel, the adjustment ratio of the rearview mirror follows the 20/80 principle as well as the side mirror, the difference is to target the ground area as much as possible.

C. Upper rearview mirror: Many RVs are taller than ordinary vehicles, especially after gas stations, street shops and other places with high mutations, you need to use the upper rearview mirror to observe the surrounding situation, to avoid contact between the vehicle and buildings or other high-altitude objects, the upper rearview mirror needs to be adjusted to the lower edge of the mirror and the tip of the tail of the vehicle aligned position, so as to facilitate the observation of the upper half of the vehicle.

2. The choice of road

Always pay attention to the height and width of the road, there are many self-propelled motorhomes in China, so you should also pay attention to the traffic restriction signs at the entrance of the road.

3. Cornering skills

It's basically the same as a family car, but it's more important to pay attention to the margin for turning.

4. Reversing skills

Regardless of whether a rearview probe is installed or not, the rear side of the car needs to be guided.

5. Space Limitations

Due to the height, many self-propelled motorhomes cannot be parked in basements and cannot enter the car ramps of high-speed toll booths, so please remind drivers of the relationship between the size of the vehicle and the space constraints.
